Milestone sessions are typically done when babies are around 6 months and sitting independently (for some babies this may mean they are 7 or 8 months old), and at one years old. Two different backdrop set ups are incorporated and outfit changes are encouraged. Neutral backdrops are utilized to focus on the child. At one year old sessions, you have the option of a cake smash session to celebrate this important first birthday milestone. “Clean” portraits are done first, followed by the beloved cake smash styled around a theme of your choice. Once the cake smashing is complete, I capture adorable images of your baby in my antique white tub for the “splash” images.
